Aleanor Rivenshield (B5 C9)
A mysterious warrior and student of nature, Aleanor met the Exiles in Brindinford when their paths crossed with hers. Though she did not return to Silverhall with them, something about her demeanor suggested that they would all walk the same road again...
Alein (B5 C9)
A paladin of Heironius, Alein was protecting the body of Terun in the town of Brindinford when the party found her. She was later killed in her dreams by the mind flayer Gareleth Axom.
Anton Hucrele (B5 C1)
A human merchant who had made his home in the small hamlet of Oakhurst. Anton's son and daughter had aspirations to be adventurers, and joined up with the paladin Sir Bradford in exploring the nearby 'Sunless Citadel'. When neither returned, Anton enlisted the help of Kazmahar to search for them. Eventually, the party returned with news of his son's death, but with the girl Sharwyn alive -- though changed.
In gratitude, Anton offered the party shelter when they hid from the Black Talons in Oakhurst. Later, the merchant offered them the cover of employment to give them the ability to travel towards Silverhall under his protection.
Armando Dessatonio (B5 C4)
A monk from Deepingrun Abbey, Brother Armando was one of the top researchers of knowledge in that secular organization. His main area of study was the elemental planes of Positive and Negative energy, and how they interacted with the Prime. He was also well read on dwarven history, and had begun to uncover many fascinating correlations between the two fields.
Armando's studies were interrupted by the arrival of the Exiles to the Abbey, and their bearing of the Ba'althril sword Darkfire, which Armando helped them to identify. Seeing a great opportunity for study in the black dwarven blade, Armando left the Abbey to follow the elf Thelisn and afford himself more time to examine the weapon. Showing a lack of good judgment, Armando followed thew party into the depths of Khundrakhar, where they eventually met the dragon Nightscale. When Sigurd was mortally wounded, Armando tried using a "healing wand" that he had constructed to save him; instead of the desired effect, the wand pulled Armando's positive energy from his body and used it to restore Sigurd. Armando became trapped in a spirit realm, unable to regain the link to his body.
In this new form, Armando stayed with the party, connected to them through the crystal wand. His demeanor changed, as he found himself able to observe the currents of positive and negative energy directly in his new state. This new awareness showed him the true nature of his theories, but also alerted him that something powerful was happening in the Negative Plane... Something connected to the black weapons the party now carried.
Armando currently resides in the body of the boy Walvis, whos own spirit was driven down by a blast of negative energy. The monk has used the boy's neary vacant body to maintain his link with the Prime realm, while at the same time seeking a way to restore them both. In the meantime, Armando has become the foremost expert on the nature of the Wyrmfang dagger and the Ba'althril weapons, and is helping in laying the plans to destroy them.
Ash Hallowbark (B1 C3)
One of the ancient race of the Voadkyn, or Wood Giants, Ash left his home in Cormanthor on a quest to see the world beyond the Dalelands. Though he stands over ten feet tall, is covered with light brown fur, and has a very feral appearance, Ash is actually quite gentle and surprisingly civilized. His large, tufted ears perk up at the mention of a good tale, and he has a fine appreciation for knowledge and art, especially the works of the Elven people. Ash is skilled at woodsinging, a Voadkyn magic that allows him to shape living wood into beautiful works of art without the need for tools.
Ash joined the party after they escaped from the Shadowman's attack at Eudora's Cottage. When Thomasin was wounded and infected by the Shadow, Ash suggested that the ancient magics of the Elder Grove in the Spiderhaunt could possibly heal him. Later, in the orc tunnels beneath the Desertmouth Mountains, it was revealed that Ash is very claustrophobic underground, but that his determination and loyalty to his friends is more important than his personal fears.
Ash remained with the Company throughout the Battle of Tilverton, where he remained with Ekel to defend the Seekers. In Greymoor Keep, he rescued Thomasin from being transported to Ravenloft.
After returning from Greymoor, Ash remained with Thomasin near the Elder Grove for a while before journeying deeper into the elven woods. Upon his return, he passed through the town of Shadowdale, where he joined with Endeleban Losteast and Yoshimoto Kuni-Omi, whom he realized were searching for Thomasin. Ash was later wounded in the goblin attack near the Dead Stand. He remained with the Daughters to heal and protect them while the others left for Dragoth'Gor.
Several years later, after having given everyone up for dead, Ash discovered a magical tome that provided proof that the Company was alive and had escaped Ravenloft, and was trapped in the Wood Between Worlds. After consulting the Elders of the Grove, Ash headed east into Cormanthor, seeking a way of helping his lost companions. En route, the wood giant became pursued by the Wild Hunt of faerie legend, and was sent into the Wood by the Huntsman's killing stroke. There, he met up with his wandering friends and helped them defeat a group of illithids that were seeking to corrupt the faelands and control human dreams.
Of late, Ash has been travelling the forests of Cormanthor, trying to uncover the menance that is threatening the Elder Groves...
Avallone (B1 C8)
One of three elven ghosts encountered by the party on Watcher's Reach. In her life, Avallone was a elven warrior, assigned to guard against humanoid invasion into Cormanthor. She and her guard were the first to fall to the demonic force that went on to lay siege, and ultimately destroy, the city of Myth Drannor. Avallone and her companions failed to light a signal beacon in time to warn the elven army of attack; she and her companions thus were cursed to haunt Watcher's Reach, constantly reliving the hopeless battle that marked their failure.
With the party's assistance, Avallone and the other ghosts changed the outcome of the battle, managing to activate the magical signal in time. Her mission complete, Avallone and her companions were released from their bondage and joined the ranks of the elven Revered Ones. During the Siege of Tilverton, Avallone led a spectral attack of the Revered Ones against the humanoid enemies that threatened the city and the party.
Avallone's memories, experiences, and skills were shared with Thomasin Greycloak when the party offered their assistance in releasing the ghosts from their haunt.
Bartleby, created by Nate Case
A young but skilled sorceror, Bartleby is more of a bored aristocrat looking for entertainment than a questing adventurer. Still, he is confident in his command of magic, and willingly lends his aid for no more return than a spot of excitement and a share of the treasure.
Recent happenings in Westmarch have made things a little too hot for Bartleby's liking, and he has since skipped town (with a good share of the party's coin)...
Brightwing (B1 C9)
A young copper dragon, known for both his eagerness and his fascination with human society and politics. Brightwing attacked the party at first, mistaking them for bandits. To make amends, Brightwing offered to fly the party into Cormyr. En route, they were attacked by flying batlike creatures, and Brightwing barely managed to deposit the party onto the battlements of the dwarven fortress of Hightower.
Later, Brightwing saved Thomasin Greycloak, Endeleban Losteast, Yoshimoto Kuni-Omi, and Ash from a goblin raiding party. Reluctantly, he then ferried the three humans to the mountain of Dragoth'Gor, wherein they were attacked by the dracolich Zral'z'nauth. While Brightwing battled the undead dragon, the humans disappeared into the dark portal that had opened.
Years later, Thomasin met Brightwing again, this time in the elven valley of Evereska, where Brightwing had been living after being direly wounded in the battle at Dragoth'Gor. He is currently friends with the reclusive elven adventurer Derelon Nightbane, who had rescued Brightwing at the base of the mountain below the dragon's cave.
Calcyrx (B5 C2)
A young dragon of indeterminable sub-species. Calcyrx started pursuing the party after encountering them deep within the Sunless Citadel, where it had escaped from the kobold Meepo. The bane of food stores and supply packs, Calcyrx is demanding, aggressive, and all together unfriendly. It is currently establishing yet another lair (its third, at least) in the pantry of Heroes' Rest.
Chance of Gaylor (B1 C1)
A human thief from the Moonsea area, Chance conceals a dark past behind her sharp-tongued facade. After following Thomasin and Leif Treadwell down into a muddy hole and almost getting herself killed, Chance decided to set out on her own. Coincidentally, she met up with the duo later - only to explore and try to escape from another muddy hole. She was last seen heading back into the Dalelands.
Dara Whitewood (B5 C5)
Constable of Blesingdell. Dara Whitewood protects and enforces the peace in the busy port town with an iron fist, allowing nothing as trivial as a bar fight to escape punishment. Offenders are rounded up, and then given the option to commute their sentence by serving time aboard merchant ships or working the docks. Thus, the town grows prosperous on the strong backs of those who would disrupt it.
Dara Whitewood befriended Alain when the paladin offered to join the dwarf Hornwood in lock-up to ensure that he showed proper restraint and respect. It is possible that something more than friendship was between the paladin and the constable, but the party quickly left town before any rumors could get themselves started.
Derelon Nightbane (B7 C7)
Retired elven adventurer and former Knight of Myth Drannor. Derelon is one of "the Nine", heroes who were gifted with the Ba'althrils in order to defeat an ancient army of evil. Now a reclusive resident of Evereska, it was revealed that Derelon is the brother of Trajan, the elf who became the demon Coldburn.
The Dreaming Queen (B3 Interlude)
Eternally sleeping and dreaming her fey realm into being, the Dreaming Queen rules The Wood Between Worlds. It was to The Wood Between Worlds that the PC's flew when they escaped the Mists, and there they learned that the Wood is only one of many that the Dreaming Queen watches as she sleeps.
Ekel(B1 C5)
Leader and "Wagon Father " of the Seekers. Ekel's white hair contrasts with his bright, garish clothing. He is generous and friendly, and holds his people's traditions in high regard.
Ekel allowed the party to rest and recuperate with his troop, but refused to allow Leif Treadwell to enter the camp without first ridding himself of the Wyrmfang dagger. Ekel is also an acquaintance of Eudora, and had carried a note from her for delivery to the party - a note written over a month before Eudora and the party met.
After separating with the Company, Ekel led the Seekers south and west into Cormyr, where they eventually came to Tilverton. There they were involuntarily placed under the protection of Tilverton and not allowed to leave the area. Ekel pleaded with Thomasin Greycloak (upon the bard's arrival in Tilverton) for help, since no food was being allowed outside of the city walls and the Seekers and other "trapped" refugees were starving.
After Ghrym Darkforge arrived in Tilverton and the quest to recover the Ba'alstones was announced, Ekel revealed a dark secret from his past that related to the new quest. He led the party to Greymoor Keep, east of Tilverton, where, long ago, Ekel had broken his oath of non-violence and killed a man while attempting to rescue his beloved Magda from the clutches of an evil baron.
After entering Ravenloft with the party, Ekel continued to bear Thomasin's heron- bladed sword. When the party was separated from their bodies by the destruction of the Pillar of Judgment, Ekel was wounded but otherwise unaffected. He was blinded (several times) while trying to retrieve the Reliquary , but was eventually cured. Ekel rescued Farid al-Haman and the Forsaken Leyani from the catacombs underneath the nightmare Temple of Gond, but was accidentally killed by Leif, wielding Darkfire, while the half-elf battled illusionary visions of his companions.
El'Al'halen (literally "The last guardian of the gate") (B1 C12)
Caretaker of Myth Ruidorr, Guardian of the Evermir. A powerful and wise sage, El'Al'halen sacrificed himself to protect the Lost City when the Elves retreated from the Flanesse. His quest is to protect the Evermir until the last elf in Faerun has passed beyond its waters.
An expert on the ancient ways of magic, El'Al'halen revealed the history of the Wyrmfang dagger to Thomasin and Leif Treadwell when they arrived in Myth Ruidorr. El'Al'halen later appeared as a vision to the party, telling them that all was not lost, despite their failure to prevent the Forsaken from escaping from Ravenloft.
Enoch (B6 C1)
Magister of the city of Stormport. Enoch was the charismatic leader whose purpose was to gather together the "Elect" before the "New Masters" came... Masters who were later revealed to be illithids. Enoch was captured and then killed by the party while trying to discover more about the mysteries of Stormport. Though he had fought the party, he was actually a good and noble mage who was being psionically controlled by the mind flayer Shuluth from his sewer lair.
Eudora (Keeper of the Weave) (B1 C3)
Diviner and "weave teller". Eudora's age could range anywhere from 80 to 800, but anyone who has ever met the wrinkled crone would think twice before calling her "old". She has a tendency to know about things months and sometimes years before they happen.
Eudora lived in a small cottage south and west of Shadowdale, where she tended the Loom, a magical device that translated the course of events in the world into a physical tapestry. Eudora is skilled at "telling the Weave", or reading the "Pattern" of the tapestry's design to gain knowledge of past, present, and future events.
Eudora was the first to recognize the significance of the Wyrmfang when the party brought it to her. She directed the party to El'Al'halen by way of a message sent a month earlier with Ekel of the Seekers. Eudora's cottage and the Loom were both destroyed by an attack lead by the Shadowman. Eudora was presumed dead, a victim of the destruction that claimed her home.
This presumption later proved to be wrong when Eudora arrived unannounced at Thomasin Greycloak's cottage near the Elder Grove. She left without much explanation, however, leaving the bard full of more questions than answers.

Resident of the wasteland town of Drylake, Gauldere has scratched out a living by leading adventurers and treasure-seekers into the Bone Sea. Though an intense coward by nature, Gauldere was finally convinced to lead the party to the dreaded Nightfang Spire after they convinced him that they would try and help the sage Yesha Faulkin, who was Gauldere only selfless friend. Gauldere was last seen running madly into the Wastes, convinced that a bone talisman he possessed had magically summoned a wizard to save him from the guardian of the Spire.
Garvyn(B2 C3)
Human captain of the ship Endurance, cursed by his cowardly actions to sail the Sargasso Seas of Ravenloft forever. Garvyn could never leave his ship, and his crew could not leave for more than a few hours without dying a horrible death. Garvyn eventually confessed his sins to the Company, who helped the sea captain right the wrongs he had committed and free him from his curse.
Ghrym Darkforge(B2 C1)
Dwarven priest of Gond. Ghrym was a direct descendant of the dwarven metalsmith Rolm, the one who harnassed the Ba'alfire to forge the Wyrmfang dagger. Gond had been on a one hundred year quest to recover the three Ba'alstones which had been stolen from Rolm's tomb by an unknown mage and his legion of undead. Summoned to Tilverton by the Keepers of the Forge, Ghrym was joined by Leif Treadwell, Brandon Butterburr, and Thomasin Greycloak in his quest for the missing stones. Led by Ekel, Ghrym, Leif, and Brandon were pulled into Ravenloft where, for the first time in several decades, Ghrym was able to detect the proximity of one of the Stones.
Fighting alongside the party, Ghrym helped defeat the ice mage Meredoth and recovered the first of the three Stones. In the city of Necropolis, however, Ghrym fell under the dark influence of one of the Forsaken and destroyed the Pillar of Judgment, freeing the demonic Forsaken and allowing them to possess the bodies of Ghrym's companions. Believing his friends dead due to his actions, Ghrym vowed to avenge them by destroying the demon Ygog-soggoth. The dwarf chased the fleeing demon through the Mists until they met in battle atop the foul Necrolith.
With each of them possessing one of the Ba'alstones, dwarf and demon found themselves nearly evenly matched. They battled to a stalemate, using so much of their own life energies that the Necrolith was able to rise up and claim them both. Just before he died, however, Ghrym found peace when he learned that his companions had not died by his actions but instead had been cast out of their physical bodies as spirits. In order that they may complete the quest and escape Ravenloft, Ghrym gave Leif the Ba'alstone he possessed along with the rune- covered handle of his war hammer. No longer reinforced by the magic of the Ba'alstone, Ghrym at last succumbed to the Necrolith.

The GOGUN, created by Barret Blake (B4 C1)
A dwarven priest, exiled from his people and sent to serve the Silver Lady of Dalandia, Gogun began his long, strange descent into madness (of a sorts) when he suffered grievous wounds and hideous transformations below Firestorm Peak. It probably didn't help that he became enthralled by several Keraptis-imprints below White Plume Mountain, or that he drew with reckless abandon from a a special Deck of Many Things. The result -- the Gogun, a towering, mishappen form containing the mind of a crazed genius. The Gogun disappeared below White Plume Mountain, but no one actually believes that he perished there. After the heroes managed to return to Silverhall, witnesses claim that they saw the form of a ghostly giant, wielding a mighty hammer and carrying a small child in his arms, leaping from the battlements and into the night... Though nothing is confirmed, both the warhammer Whelm and the infant Keraptis child have not been seen since.

Engineer-priest of Gond, Isoldannon built the Gondstruct, a steam golem that was put in place to protect the vault of magical devices hidden below the Temple of Gond in Tilverton. Later, after the Gondstruct followed the Wyrmfang dagger to Silverhall, Isoldannon led the crew that revised it to act as a steel-minded porter, immune to the dangerous influence of the ba'althril weapons it carried. Tight-lipped and unineterested in much beyond his steam-driven charge, Isoldannon ensures that the Gondstruct continues to operate within normal parameters.

She treched her power too thin, however, and was forced to use the Stone to channel the souls of her people in order to capture the demon Ygog- soggoth.
